I believe that superior design and beautiful spaces are not something that happens by accident. MY PHILOSOPHY in design and decoration is built upon specific principles that I strive to incorporate in every masterpiece I create.
First and foremost, FORM SHOULD ALWAYS FOLLOW FUNCTION.
What good is a design, no matter how beautiful it is if it does not make the user comfortable and it does not serve the purpose it is built for?!
BEFORE I START A JOB, I sit with the user and LISTEN, LISTEN, AND LISTEN to what they need and want; and then we start working around their desires.
I believe that EVERY SPACE HAS ITS UNIQUENESS AND SHOULD REFLECT THE PERSONALITY OF ITS USER AND HIS/HER NEEDS.
I always see spaces in three dimensions, not two. When we design them, we treat them as three-dimensional masterpiece sculptures to ensure
PROPORTIONALITY AND TOTAL HARMONY between usability and beauty.
I believe that strength in design is enhanced by simplicity following the French motto "SIMPLICITY IS THE GREATEST BEAUTY / SIMPLICITÉ LA PLUS GRANDE BEAUTÉ ."
The world of construction and decorating materials is massive, creating a puzzling maze as to which materials are the most suitable for the job!
I know my way in that maze very well!! I select the MATERIALS THAT SERVE THE IDEAS embedded in the design and not the other way around!
I realize that every project has a BUDGET that it cannot exceed. I keep that budget in mind throughout the whole process of designing and creating
Every job I do.
I use the most COST-EFFECTIVE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES and the MOST ECONOMICALLY SUITABLE MATERIALS.
I believe that "expensive" and "beautiful" are NOT necessarily the same.
Last but not least, it is my conviction that the most skillful designs, if not executed properly, become worthless.
This is why I strive to make my DESIGNS AND PLANS FIELD-FRIENDLY! Field engineers will find MY designs and plans among the clearest and easiest to use. I provide them as many details as I perceive needed for a perfect job.
